Journal of Vascular Access (JVA)
JVA (Journal of Vascular Access) is the official Journal of WoCoVA/ GloVANet.
JVA is currently the most important journal exclusively focused on vascular access, and the only one to appear on PubMed.
JVA is published six times per year by Sages Publishing. The journal publishes peer-reviewed original clinical and laboratory articles reporting relevant medical, radiological and surgical advances in the fast growing field of vascular access. Contents include reviews, editorials, guidelines and papers focusing on more practical aspects related to new devices and techniques. JVA publishes also evidence-based practice articles on venous access devices – peripheral and central, short-term and mid/long-term – one of the most basic yet critical components of patient care both in hospital and home settings.
